My intent with these mostly-weekly brags, grats, and desires is that you join me and as a community we lift one another up by sharing where we’re rockin’, thankin’, and open to receive even more! The full explanation is here.
I brag that:
- My wonderful husband celebrated our 10th wedding anniversary with dinner at the restaurant where we had our rehearsal dinner, a dozen roses, a gorgeous necklace, and something no one will ever see me in except him
- At the above-mentioned dinner I discovered summer’s most refreshing salad: cubed watermelon, mint chiffonade, and crumbled feta. I’ve reprised it twice since, to rave reviews
- I’m loving Nia with a new teacher on Wednesday mornings, since my dear Dara “retired” at least for now
- One of my clients won an awesome award in her field this week
- Sara and I successfully and seamlessly transitioned to a new accounting firm and now get our paycheck stubs via e-mail. I love living in the high-tech future
- The stone patio and terrace in our back yard is slowly but surely taking shape – and my hydrangeas are in bloom
I’m thankful for:
- The five beautiful women who came to dinner last night and the way our home embraces my loved ones
- The courage (it seems to come from somewhere beyond me) to do my real work and not get distracted by “shiny objects” outside it
- My sweet yummy relationship with the Divine
- The amazing man Kurt is and has become over the 10 years we’ve been married, and the marriage we create every day
- My brain trust colleagues and business partner who support me so deeply
- My amazing coach and our crazy-cool call yesterday
- The way Cooper’s curls are refreshed by his nap, and that I get to be here for him to run in and see when he wakes up
I desire:
- To work with professional women pregnant with their first or second child, so they can transition beautifully at work and at home
- An amazing group of women for this fall’s Turning on the Feminine course
- To get bodywork from the amazing Shelly Shelley again (how do you love that for a married name?)
